Nihanth (Sunny) Peta, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
He attended college at Florida State University and medical school at The University of Toledo. He then completed his residency in emergency medicine at the University of Kentucky, where he also served as the chief resident of information technology. Dr. Peta then worked at various community sites in Kentucky and was the assistant medical director for Baptist Health in Paducah, Kentucky.
In his free time, he enjoys relaxing with his wife (who is also an emergency physician at Vanderbilt), his dog, and practicing his dexterity on Xbox live.
