Th mission of the Emergency Ultrasound Division is to lead Vanderbilt students, residents, and faculty in point-of-care ultrasound education and research, enhancing the quality of patient care through work that has a local and global impact.

Faculty in the Emergency Ultrasound Division are committed to education through the department's Advanced EM Ultrasonography Fellowship program and to improving global health by expanding access to medical imaging through the Global Sounds Project.
