Jordan Rupp

Jordan Rupp, MD, is director, Division of Emergency Ultrasound, and Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Vanderbit University Medical Center. His academic interests include point-of-care ultrasound, global health, and especially ultrasound in global health. 

Originally from Archbold, Ohio, Dr. Rupp went to college at Taylor University, medical school at Wright State University, and residency at Indiana University. He joined the faculty at Vanderbilt to complete an ultrasound fellowship and then a global health fellowship. After fellowship, he remained on the faculty. 

He and his wife, Kelsey, love living in Nashville with their child, Finn. Outside the emergency department, he enjoys spending time with his family and outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, and paddle boarding.
