Lynea Bull, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Her interests include point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), regional anesthesia, gamification of medical education, mobile application development, community service and outreach and global health.
Born and raised in Durham, North Carolina, she completed her undergraduate studies at Duke University, majoring in biology and minoring in chemistry and English. For her graduate studies she attended North Carolina State University and received her masters in physiology. She earned her medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Following Emergency Medicine residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Dr. Bull completed a fellowship in Advanced Emergency Ultrasound at Emory University in Atlanta. She joined the Vanderbilt faculty in 2024.
