Andrew Johnson, MD, MPH, is Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
He is a graduate of Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed a residency in emergency medicine at Naval Medical Center San Diego. He then went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at the University of Utah. Prior to joining Vanderbilt, Dr. Johnson served in the United States Navy with a focus on hyperbaric/dive medicine, humanitarian/disaster relief missions; and in support of the United States Marines in Afghanistan.
