Dr. Connor Kelly

Connor Kelly, MD, is Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. His interests in medicine include ultrasound, medicine in austere environments and education. 

He grew up in a military family and moved across the country until he eventually settled in Wisconsin, where he attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for undergraduate studies, earning a bachelor of science in nutritional sciences. He worked for a large electronic medical record company in the Madison area before pursuing a medical career. 

Dr. Kelly was commissioned in the armed services in 2016, then attended the Uniformed Services of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland for medical school. He then completed an emergency medicine residency and emergency ultrasonography fellowship at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. 

Outside of work, he enjoys weightlifting, mountain biking, running, and cooking. He is married to another Army physician and has a daughter.
