Why did you choose VUMC Emergency Medicine? During my away rotation, the residents and faculty truly went out of their way to get to know me and ensured I felt welcomed to the family. The teaching both on and off shift are unmatched. There also are amazing EM adjacent opportunities such as working with LifeFlight, event medicine, and global health in Guyana. Nashville is such a fun place to live, making time off shift incredibly enjoyable!

Interests in emergency medicine: Wilderness medicine, global health

Five-year plan: I don't have a specific plan yet but as of now, I think I would really enjoy working at a critical access hospital.

If not EM, what? Traveling yoga instructor

Hobbies: Climbing, surfing, scuba diving, biking, hiking, camping, reading, going to concerts

Random fact about me: I lived in Peru for two years, which is where I learned how to surf.
