Dr. Bo Stubblefield

William-May "Bo" Stubblefield, MD, MPH, joined the Department of Emergency Medicine faculty of 2019 as Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine. His research focuses on venous thromboembolic disease. He is interested in risk-stratification and prognostic biomarkers for the diagnosis and treatment of acute pulmonary embolism.

Dr. Stubblefield is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at LSU's Spirit of Charity Residency in New Orleans. He completed his training as a T32 research fellow under the mentorship of Wesley Self, MD, MPH.
