MD

Brett Cohen, MD, is Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. His professional interests include clinical operations and bringing digital health innovations to the bedside. 

He grew up in Deerfield, Illinois and received his undergraduate degree at Tulane University with honors, graduating magna cum laude. He attended medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where he was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honors Society. Following his residency at Northwestern University and an administrative fellowship at Stanford University, Dr. Cohen joined the Vanderbilt faculty in 2023 as an Assistant Professor and telemedicine lead for the Department of Emergency Medicine. 

Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and exploring the world of baking.
