Why did you choose VUMC Emergency Medicine? I was so impressed with how extraordinarily kind everyone was on my interview day and how everyone truly seemed to care about helping each other every step of the way. Vanderbilt's great reputation for didactics, simulation, and career preparation were huge factors in my decision.

Interests in emergency medicine: Academic medicine

Five year plan: Enjoying the early portion of my career in emergency medicine, explore teaching opportunities and starting a family.

Hobbies: I enjoy spending time with my husband, cooking, going for walks, exploring/traveling, watching The Office and following Formula One racing. 

Random fact about me: I used to compete in triathlons growing up.
