MD, MPH

Cooper March, MD MPH, is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Vanderbilt Health, and practices at the Nashville VA Medical Center along with the Bedford and Tullahoma community sites in the Vanderbilt Health network.

Originally born in Georgia and raised in Ohio, Dr. March found his love for the Emergency Department as a medical student at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, and completed his residency training out on the west coast at the University of Washington. There, he developed interests in resident education and hospital transfers, and gained experience in several practice settings including the prehospital flight physician program and a five-bed emergency room on San Juan Island. He is thrilled to be coming back to Nashville to the department that inspired him as a medical student, and to reunite with his partner who works on Music Row.

Outside of the hospital, he enjoys ceramics, painting, baking, and biking around the greenways of Middle Tennessee.
