Daniel Himes, MD, is Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He earned his MD at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Dr. Himes is married to Kim, a middle school teacher at Harpeth Hall and he is the proud father of Lauren Grace, Emma, and Anna Kate. Outside the emergency department, he enjoys fly fishing, flytying, cycling, trail running and shooting sports.
