Daniel Himes, MD, is Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Vanderbilt Health. He earned his MD at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He splits his time between the adult and pediatric emergency departments and also works with the pediatric anesthesia sedation team.

Dr. Himes is married to Kim, a middle school teacher at Harpeth Hall, and he is the proud father of Lauren Grace, Emma, and Anna Kate. Outside the emergency department, he enjoys fly fishing, flytying, cycling, trail running and shooting sports.
