Why did you choose VUMC Emergency Medicine? I chose VUMC Emergency Medicine because of how much we are a family. Everyone is extremely supportive and truly just good people. It is excellent training and is a great place to live. There is also a great Coptic community here in Nashville.

Interests in emergency medicine: Global health, peds, ultrasound, EMS

Five-year plan: In five years, I plan to be working half academic and half community, while spending a few weeks each year working in a low-resource country.

If not EM, what? I would be a professional soccer player, if I was good enough.

Hobbies: I love to play soccer and dial in espresso.

Random fact about me: I can brew coffee in six different methods (espresso, pourover, French press, Turkish coffee, cold brew, Aeropress).
