Jared J. McKinney, MD, is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and director of the Division of Emergency Medical Services and the EMS Fellowship Program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC). He graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and completed a residency in Emergency Medicine and an EMS Fellowship at VUMC.
Since completing fellowship and becoming board certified in Emergency Medical Services, Dr. McKinney has become an Deputy Medical Director, Metro Nashville Fire Department and Medical Director, LifeFlight Ground Transport and Event Medicine. He continues to focus on EMS education, outreach, and quality improvement initiatives.
