Jeff Heimiller, MD, is director of the Simulation Fellowship Program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. His academic interests include graduate and undergraduate medical education, simulation, and development of procedural trainers.
He attended Virginia Commonwealth University for his undergraduate education, followed by medical school at Virginia Tech Carilion as a member of the charter class. He completed his emergency medicine residency at Vanderbilt in 2017 and served as the inaugural simulation fellow.
He enjoys fly fishing, woodworking, gardening, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
