Why did you choose VUMC Emergency Medicine? I remember just feeling so happy after my interview. I felt like the people I talked to were all genuinely kind and seemed to share similar values with me. I knew right away that they were who I wanted to work with and learn from. I also was impressed by Vanderbilt EM's continued presence in Guyana since I have an interest in global emergency medicine. And Nashville is a lot closer to my family, which is a huge bonus!

Interests in emergency medicine: Global EM, ultrasound, compassionate patient care

Five year plan: Not completely sure yet, but I'm interested in doing a fellowship in either ultrasound, global EM, or a combination of the two. I definitely want to continue working in the emergency department and hopefully find my dream job!!

If not EM, what? I always thought it would be cool to play piano at a fancy restaurant.

Hobbies: Running, eating good food, baking, hiking (in nice weather), going on long walks, pickleball - really anything that involves spending time with people I love!

Random fact about me: I spent several months at a leper colony in China during undergrad.
