Why did you choose VUMC Emergency Medicine? Because it was apparent the program supported the residents while also preparing them to be the best emergency medicine doctors they can be. I wanted to leave my residency program feeling as prepared as possible, which I believe VUMC EM will do. I also really enjoyed the camaraderie and social environment of the program.  

Interests in emergency medicine: I am interested in ultrasound and medical education.

Five year plan: Ultimately, I am undecided. I am wanting to explore as much as possible within emergency medicine during my time at Vanderbilt. 

If not EM, what? Within medicine, I would have been interested in internal medicine. Outside of medicine, I've always thought being a songwriter would be an awesome career. 

Hobbies: Cooking, workout classes, traveling, listening to live music 

Random fact about me: I used to be a childhood singer here in Nashville.
