Dr. Joe Broderick

Joe Broderick, DO, is Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine and Medical Director, Vanderbilt Bedford County Hospital. 

He went to undergrad at Michigan State University and continued his medical education at Michigan State in the College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then did his residency training at Henry Ford, which he completed in 2020. In his final year of training, Dr. Broderick was awarded the Michigan Osteopathic Association Resident of the Year award. His passion in emergency medicine is community medicine.

Dr. Broderick grew up in South Lyon, Michigan, a small suburb of Metro-Detroit. He has an identical twin brother who currently lives in Toledo, Ohio and is also an emergency medicine physician. Dr. Broderick and his wife moved to Nashville post-residency in 2020 where they continue to live in The Nations with their two Pembroke Welsch Corgis. He is an avid golfer and board game enthusiast; he and his wife also own a horse, which is a shared passion of theirs.
