Why did you choose VUMC Emergency Medicine? Vanderbilt really delivered on interview day and gave me the gut feeling that it was the place for me! Everyone I interacted with were (and are) extremely relatable, friendly, and felt like they'd make a great family. The program itself is second to none and offers everything I want for my training and overall life goals. Nashville is also a super cool city. VUMC EM checked all my boxes and I'm grateful every day I'm here.

Interests in emergency medicine: Critical care, prehospital medicine and resource limited care. But there are so many options to explore and I'm open to it all.

Five year plan: I'm aiming to be done with training (+/- fellowship) and hold a 50/50 community/academic position. I hope to be a leader in whatever niche I pursue and help teach the next generation that comes after me.

If not EM, what? I'd be a firefighter/paramedic, no question

Hobbies: Lifting weights, biking, reading and anything active

Random fact about me: I have a 1,088 day streak (and counting) on Duolingo
