Hometown: Boston

Undergraduate: Brown University

Medical School: NYU Grossman School of Medicine

Why did you choose VUMC Emergency Medicine? Because I loved my experience at Second Look so much! The residents were so funny and kind-- they immediately made me feel welcome. There was also a panel discussion with recent grads of the program, and it was really reassuring for me to hear them all stress how prepared they felt to practice as attendings after only three years of residency. I also absolutely adore Nashville!

Interests in emergency medicine: Ultrasound, quality improvement, simulation

Five-year plan: I'm not sure! I might be working in the community, but I could also see myself staying in academics. Check back with me at graduation.

If not EM, what? I was a server for nine years prior to med school and I loved how fast paced and chaotic it was (like the ED), so maybe I would still be doing that, but I could also see myself thriving as an event planner, because I love calendars/organization.

Hobbies: Being a plant mom, hot yoga, and going to as many concerts as humanly possible

Random fact about me: Four of the five people in my nuclear family are MDs! My twin sister may be the only non-medical person among us, but she's the real genius, because she lives in Spain and gets to live her best life in Madrid while the rest of us are working all the time.
