Why did you choose VUMC Emergency Medicine? I got to meet so many great people who make up the program and see all that Vanderbilt and Nashville have to offer on my interview and second look. VUMC EM intersected everything I was looking for: high acuity, strong camaraderie, exceptional training, and an environment where I could grow professionally and personally. 

Interests in emergency medicine: Administration, leadership and operations, social EM 

Five-Year Plan: Finish residency and then work in a mix of community, academic, and administration (plus travel and start a family) 

If not EM, what? Beach lifeguard 

Hobbies: Film and digital photography, travel, swimming, college football, and eating. 

Random fact about me: My wife and I were both collegiate swimmers at TCU—Go Frogs!
