Why did you choose VUMC Emergency Medicine: I was continually drawn to Vanderbilt after my interview. I felt like I would be both challenged and supported throughout my training. It was easy to see the camaraderie between residents, and how wonderful it would be to be a part of the “Vandy Fam.” 

Interests in emergency medicine: Ultrasound, medical education

Five-year plan: I am open to how my experiences in the next three years will shape my plans! I would love to be working at an academic hospital with some time shared at a community practice.

If not EM, what? Outside of medicine, I would have loved to teach biochemistry at my college alma mater.

Hobbies: Tabletop gaming, miniature painting, D&D, traveling, baking, walking/hiking with my dog.

Random fact about me: My whole family works for the airlines, so I love to travel every chance I get!
