Why did you choose VUMC Emergency Medicine? During my away rotation, I absolutely fell in love with the culture, faculty, and community at VUMC. It’s rare to find an academic program that combines such exceptional training with faculty who are equally humble and compassionate. I left with the strong sense that VUMC is not only a place where I would grow into a highly skilled physician, but also into a better version of myself. 

Interests in emergency medicine: Social emergency medicine, medical education 

Five-year plan: I am still unsure if I want to pursue academic vs community emergency medicine; however, I know that I will stay in Nashville, start a family, and enjoy the next chapter of my life! 

If not EM, what? Professional organizer 

Hobbies: Orangetheory, solidcore, baking bread, flower arranging, and antiquing 

Random fact about me: While kayaking the Ocoee, I broke my front tooth on a rapid called “Broken Nose.”
