Michael Olushoga, MD, is Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
A first generation Nigerian American, he was born in Chicago, grew up in Lagos, Nigeria and emigrated back to the U.S. in 2004 when his family settled in Houston. Dr. Olushoga earned an undergraduate degree from Rhodes College in Memphis and completed medical school at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He is a graduate of The University of Alabama at Birmingham’s emergency medicine residency program.
On off days, he enjoys cooking, hiking, collecting sneakers, and watching sports.
