Why did you choose VUMC Emergency Medicine? Vanderbilt gave me the ideal place to grow into the best version of myself, both as a person and as a physician. I knew from the first moment of talking to people here that the resident leadership team was going to have my back, the faculty was going to encourage me to take changes and make mistakes, and my co-residents would always be there to support me. I felt like Vanderbilt provided me with limitless opportunities that I could take advantage of both as a resident and in the future.

Interests in emergency medicine: Sports medicine, global health and EMS

Five year plan: Work in academic emergency medicine after fellowship

If not EM, what? I would work on the International Space Station as an astronaut

Hobbies: College football, hunting, fishing, intramurals and mini golf
