Tara Overbeeke

Tara Overbeeke, MD’s academic interests include women in emergency medicine, faculty wellness, and emergency department administration/scheduling. She is a member of the Emergency Medicine Faculty Wellness Committee and serves as a VU Wellness Champion. She is currently the Vanderbilt University Adult Hospital ED Advanced Practice Provider director as well as EM scheduler. 

Dr. Overbeeke is an AOA graduate of Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine (2009). She completed her residency in emergency medicine at Vanderbilt University (2009) and served as chief resident (2009-2010). 

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, gardening, traveling, and taking care of the animals on her mini-farm including goats, sheep, and chickens.
