Terrence Darcy, MD, is an Instructor in Clinical Emergency Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital. His professional interests include healthcare innovation, medical education, and team-based delivery of care.
Originally from Montgomery, N.J., Dr. Darcy earned a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from The College of William and Mary. He spent time working in commercial coffee production in Richmond, Va., before returning to New Jersey to complete his medical degree at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He then completed his emergency medicine residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, graduating in 2025 and joining the faculty shortly thereafter.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, exploring food and beverage culture, and hiking. He lives in Nashville with his wife and their cat.
