Why did you choose VUMC Emergency Medicine? 

During my away rotation at Vanderbilt, I always felt that I could be my authentic self while learning from clinical leaders in emergency medicine. Everyone was committed to helping me develop professionally and clinically, even after my rotation ended. Also, I am very interested in medical education and advocacy and Vanderbilt allows me to care for the medically underserved while serving as a teacher to inquisitive medical students. 

Overall, I chose Vanderbilt because I know the patient population, high patient volumes, and dedicated attendings here at Vanderbilt will appropriately challenge me to become a well-rounded and prepared EM physician.
